Welcome to QualifyCode
Technical assessments with integrity you can trust — documentation for recruiters and hiring managers.
Welcome to QualifyCode
QualifyCode is a technical assessment platform for engineering hiring. You design a coding assessment, invite candidates by email, and review integrity-verified results that combine code quality, behavioral signals, and video proctoring — all in one place.
This documentation is written for the people who run the hiring process: recruiters, hiring managers, and workspace administrators. It explains what you see in the dashboard, the fields and choices you control, and how results are produced and interpreted.
What you can do
Author assessments
Build a coding screen in a guided five-step wizard. Pick problems from the shared library or generate AI variations, set duration and languages, and lock in a schedule.
Reuse templates
Save assessments as templates your team can instantiate. Share them company-wide to keep every screen consistent.
Invite candidates
Add candidates by email and send unique private links. Customize the invitation, schedule a window, and send reminders.
Pay per candidate
Use wallet credits for predictable spending, or pay at launch via a regional gateway (Razorpay or Stripe). See exactly where every credit went in the ledger.
Review with confidence
Read the integrity report, watch the session video, and replay the candidate's code on a synced timeline.
Triage at scale
Move candidates through a verdict pipeline. Set the bar once with the Role Bar, optionally let automation apply it, and keep an audit trail of every decision.
Build shortlists
Collect candidates for a specific role or hiring round. Hand the same shortlist to the next interviewer with full context.
Analyze your funnel
See pipeline status, recommendation distribution, integrity trends, problem performance, and per-role breakdowns.

How a screen moves through the product
Each stage is covered in its own section. The fastest path for a new user is: Create your account → Create an assessment → Invite candidates → Review results.
Two apps, one workflow
The product uses two web applications.
| App | Audience | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Dashboard | Recruiters, hiring managers, admins | Create assessments, manage candidates, review results, run billing. |
| Candidate app | Candidates | Take the assessment. No account required — each candidate uses a private link. |
This documentation covers the dashboard. Candidates receive their instructions in the invitation email and on the candidate app's briefing page.
A note on terminology
Throughout the documentation, workspace refers to your company's shared space in QualifyCode, assessment to a single coding test you send out, and candidate to a person invited to take one. See the Glossary for the full list of terms.
