Screening
The screening console, the verdict pipeline, the Role Bar, automation, compare, and shortlists — the full hiring workflow.
Screening
The Screening section is the hiring workflow. After a candidate's report is ready, you triage them, decide on a verdict, optionally run that decision through a versioned Role Bar policy, and collect the people you want to advance into shortlists for the next round.
The workflow
The five sections
Queue
The screening console. Filter, sort, keyboard-triage, and bulk-decide.
Verdicts
The five verdict stages and what each means.
Role Bar
The versioned, scoped policy that defines the bar.
Automation
Apply the policy unattended, with a kill switch and a reversals log.
Compare
Side-by-side comparison of two or more candidates.
Shortlists
Curated candidate collections for the next round.
Two namespaces, kept apart
There are two distinct values in the system. They are deliberately not merged.
| Namespace | What it is |
|---|---|
| Recommendation | The machine's read, in six buckets from STRONG_HIRE to STRONG_NO_HIRE. Owned by the analysis; surfaced in the screening console. |
| Screening verdict | A human decision, in five stages: NEW, SCREENING, CLEAR, REVIEW, REJECT. |
A policy can map a recommendation to a verdict, but only a person — or an explicitly automated action attributed to that person — can write a verdict. The audit trail records which it was.
