Queue
The screening console: filter, sort, keyboard-triage, and bulk-decide on candidates across all your assessments.
Queue
The Screening console is where you act on candidates. It is a queue of every candidate who has touched one of your assessments, organized by their current verdict.
The default view
The queue opens on Pending — candidates with no decision yet. This is a triage queue, so the default view is the work still owed a decision rather than the full archive.
Tabs
The five verdict tabs sit at the top:
| Tab | Count | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
Pending (NEW) | Number of undecided candidates | The default tab |
In Screening (SCREENING) | Evidence still arriving | A non-actionable tab; rows move on as evidence lands |
Passed (CLEAR) | Cleared by a reviewer | Read-only history |
Review (REVIEW) | Flagged for a second look | Action queue |
Rejected (REJECT) | Ruled out by a reviewer | Read-only history |
| All | Every verdict combined | The full directory |
Each count is the workspace's count of candidates in that stage.
Filters
The toolbar exposes:
- Search by name or email
- Role filter to group by role title
- Recommendation filter (the six CETS buckets)
- Integrity flag filter (e.g.
bulk_paste,phone_detected,tab_switch) - Completeness filter — only show candidates whose evidence is complete
- Tag filter — custom labels you have added
- Hide no-show — exclude candidates who never started
- Sort by score, recommendation, name, last seen, and more
Keyboard triage
The queue is keyboard-first.
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
j / k | Move focus down / up |
Enter / o | Open the split-pane preview (Enter again opens the full dossier) |
c | Pass (set verdict to CLEAR) |
r | Review (set verdict to REVIEW) |
x | Reject (set verdict to REJECT) |
Esc | Close the preview |
Hint legends are shown at the bottom of the queue.
Split-pane preview
Clicking a row (or pressing Enter) opens a compact dossier on the right side of
the queue, so the list never leaves the screen. Click the same row again (or press
Esc) to close. The split-pane preview is the same dossier the Decision Room
shows, in a smaller form.
Bulk actions
Select one or more rows to enable the bulk bar. From there you can:
- Apply Pass, Review, or Reject to the whole selection.
- Open Compare with the same selection as inputs.
- Clear the selection.
Selection is scoped to the current view of the list. Changing a filter or page implicitly starts a fresh selection. The selection survives the Compare detour so the round trip does not cost you what you had selected.
Empty states
The empty state copy distinguishes three situations:
- Filters are active and nothing matches. "No candidates match the current filters. Try clearing a filter to widen the search."
- Pending tab and nothing to do. "Nothing pending — you're all caught up. Every candidate has a decision. Switch to All to see the full directory."
- Other tabs. "No candidates in <verdict>. Decisions you record land here."
The point is to make "all caught up" feel like success, not like the system is empty.
