Screening
Compare candidates
Side-by-side comparison of two or more candidates on the same row, with every signal and verdict aligned.
Compare
The Compare view lets you put two or more candidates side by side, with their scores, recommendations, integrity flags, completeness, and per-assessment overrides aligned in the same column. It exists for the moment when you are choosing between specific people.
Opening Compare
There are two ways to open Compare:
- From the Screening queue. Select two or more candidates with the checkboxes, click Compare in the bulk bar. The selection is preserved across the round trip.
- From a candidate's Decision Room. Open another candidate's dossier and click Compare with this candidate.
What the page shows
For each candidate, the page aligns:
| Field | What it is |
|---|---|
| Identity | Name, email, role, tags |
| Best score | The best score across the candidate's assessments |
| Current verdict | The screening verdict (where it has been set) |
| Suggested verdict | The machine suggestion (including INSUFFICIENT_DATA) |
| Effective recommendation | The CETS recommendation, after any override |
| Integrity flags | The integrity flags raised on the candidate |
| Completeness | Whether the evidence is sufficient to judge |
| Per-assessment overrides | For each assessment the candidate took, the override that was applied |
When to use Compare
- Choosing between finalists. A clear side-by-side makes the tiebreaker obvious.
- Audit. Reviewing whether the bar was applied consistently across a small set of candidates.
- Handoff to the next round. Including the compare view with a handoff pack so the next interviewer sees the same context.
Selection survives the round trip
Compare is a detour, not a destination. Coming back to the queue that had forgotten what was selected would make the round trip cost more than it saved.
