Wallet
Pre-fund a wallet with credits, see your balance and ledger, and purchase credits through a regional gateway.
Wallet
The wallet lets you pre-purchase credits so assessments are deducted automatically. This is handy if you run many assessments or want predictable spending.
How it works
- You add credits to your company wallet.
- When you launch an assessment, the cost (per candidate) is deducted from the wallet automatically, up to the number of candidates.
- If the wallet does not cover the full amount, you pay the remainder at checkout.
- A ledger records every transaction: top-ups, deductions per assessment, holds, and releases.
Balance
Open Payments in the dashboard to see:
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Available | Credits you can spend right now. |
| Held | Credits reserved for assessments in flight. Released on completion or cancellation. |
| This month | Amount spent this calendar month, in the regional currency. |
| Rate | Per-candidate price, formatted. |
A low-balance warning band appears at the top when the available credits fall below the configured threshold. Admins can buy more directly from the warning.
The ledger
Each ledger entry is color-coded the same way as the Payments page in the product:
| Type | Color | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| +Credit Credit | success (green) | Top-up |
| −Debit Debit | destructive (red) | Spent on an assessment |
| −Hold Hold | warning (amber) | Reserved for an assessment in flight |
| RELEASE Release | primary (blue) | A hold was released (cancellation or completion) |
Each entry records:
- When it happened
- The assessment, when applicable
- The gateway, when applicable
- The reason
- The balance after the entry
The ledger is the authoritative answer to "where did my money go". The same data is shown in two places: the workspace-level Payments page (admins) and the per-recruiter spend view.
Per-recruiter spend
Admins see a Credits consumed by recruiter table on the Payments page. For each recruiter, it shows the count of assessments, the count of candidates, and the total tokens spent. This makes it easy to see which recruiters are driving spend in your workspace.
Purchasing credits
From the wallet, an admin can purchase credits. You choose an amount, and the purchase opens a secure checkout with a payment gateway. When the payment succeeds, the credits are added to your wallet and a confirmation appears. The same gateways used for assessment checkout apply (see Checkout).
Credits and candidates
Billing is per candidate. A wallet credit covers one candidate seat. When you launch an assessment, the estimate shows how many candidates you are paying for and how many are covered by existing credits.
Refunds and cancellations
If you cancel an assessment after payment, a refund may be applied according to your billing terms, represented in the ledger as a released hold rather than a dedicated button. The hold entry on the original assessment is matched to a release entry on cancellation.
